DUB’s Daily Dose: Strand recalled by Kings, Juulsen recalled by Canucks, and more!

 

Strand recalled by Kings

Austin Strand (Red Deer, Seattle 2014-18) was recalled by the Los Angeles Kings from their AHL affiliate Ontario Reign. He has spent time with both clubs this season. With the Kings, the Calgary product has played in five games where he has a pair of assists. With the Reign, he has skated in 32 games collecting seven points (3G-4A).

His DUB career was split between the Rebels and Thunderbirds where he picked up 122 points (40G-82A) in 268 games.

Anderson-Dolan loaned to Reign

In the same tweet, Jaret Anderson-Dolan (Spokane 2014-19) was loaned by the Los Angeles Kings to their AHL affiliate the Ontario Reign. The 22-year-old forward has skated in seven games with the Kings this season and has been held off the scoresheet. He has spent the majority of the season with the Reign where he has 37 points (21G-16A) in 39 games.

The Calgary product spent his entire 244 game DUB career with the Chiefs where he had 236 points (113G-123A).

Bowey reassigned to Abbotsford

Madison Bowey (Kelowna 2010-15) was reassigned by the Vancouver Canucks to their AHL affiliate in Abbotsford. The 26-year-old has played a pair of games with the Canucks where he has been held off the scoresheet. With the baby Canucks he has suited up in 34 games where he has 17 points (5G-12A).

He played his DUB career with the Rockets where he served as captain for his final two seasons (2013-15). The high-scoring defenseman played 259 with the Rockets where he had 172 points (58G-114A), 120 of them in his final two seasons.

Juulsen recalled by Vancouver

Noah Juulsen (Everett 2012-17) was recalled by the Vancouver Canucks from the AHL’s Abbotsford Canucks. The former first-round NHL pick (26th overall, Montreal in 2015) has been shuffled between  Vancouver and Abbotsford a few times this season. He has played in seven games with the Canucks this season where he has two points (both assists). In 37 games for Abbotsford, he has 15 points (3G-12A) and 34 penalty minutes.

The defenseman from Surrey, BC played his DUB career with the Silvertips where he had 124 points (30G-94A) in 240 games.
