Managing Partner

DUBNetwork is an established Western Hockey League media website. We’ve reached over 1.5 million page views in our four years and been granted access to WHL, Hockey Canada, and IIHF events. We’ve also interviewed current and former NHL players. We’re partners with BCHLNetwork and may expand to add other junior hockey leagues in the future.

DUBNetwork is accepting applications for someone to join our team in a management role.

This exciting new position was created to add someone to the team who will help bring DUBNetwork to a new level while maintaining the roots that got us to where we are today.

This job is currently on a volunteer basis, but it is our hope that the managing partner will help guide us toward generating more revenue for the website. A revenue-generating model allows us to not only pay our writers but also turn the managing editor position into one with remuneration.

Our goal is to have writers in all 22 WHL markets as well as writing content specific to the overall league itself.

Some of the things we are looking for in a Managing Partner:

  • Management experience
  • Online media experience
  • Social media experience
  • Drive and determination
  • Experience with WordPress

Applications with a cover letter are accepted until October 30, 2020. Please send to the attention of DUBNetwork CEO Paul Figler at p.figler@dubnetwork.ca
