Silvertips clinch playoff spot

With their 3-1 win over the Victoria Royals on Saturday night, the Everett Silvertips have officially clinched a playoff spot.

Langan signs pro tryout with Moose

Tristan Langan (Moose Jaw 2015-19) signed his second professional tryout with the AHL’s Manitoba Moose, his first came at the end of January. He played a pair of games with the Moose collecting a minor penalty. The 23-year-old forward has played the majority of the season with the Orlando Solar Bears (ECHL) where he has 30 points (9G-21A) in 28 games. He also had a stint with the Syracuse Crunch of the AHL where he suited up in eight games collecting three points (1G-2A).

The four-year DUB veteran from Swan River, MB played his entire career with the Warriors where he picked up 184 points (78G-106A) in 241 games.

Winquist traded to Allen

Joshua Winquist (Everett 2009-14) was traded to the Allen Americans by the Reading Royals for future considerations in a trade involving the two ECHL clubs. In 14 games with the Royals, the 28-year-old had 11 points (3G-8A).

In his five-year DUB career the St. Albert, AB product skated in 301 games with the Silvertips where he collected 216 points (101G-115A).
