Kasper Puutio (56 GP, 5 G, 23 A with the Swift Current Broncos and Everett Silvertips in 2019-20) has signed with Karpat in Finland for the 2020-21 season. Puutio left Karpat’s junior team for the 2019-20 season to play for Swift Current after they selected him first overall in the 2019 CHL Import Draft. Our friend Josh Horton tweeted that Puutio is expected to be back in Everett next season, but if he doesn’t report, that would certainly be a big blow to Everett who will have given up a first round pick in 2020 for just over 20 games from Puutio.
