Americans recall Pascoe as an emergency backup

The Tri-City Americans had to recall Evan Pascoe from the Thompson Blazers of the BCMML to back-up Mason Dunsford against Pascoe’s hometown Kamloops Blazers on Saturday. Talyn Boyko came into Friday night’s game against Kamloops in relief in the second period but was forced to leave the game with an injury. Pascoe has posted a 4.13 GAA in 12 games with Thompson this season.

The Red Deer Rebels recalled Trey Patterson from the AMHL’s Calgary Buffaloes Midget AAA squad. In 23 games this season he’s recorded two goals and five assists. The recall was made necessary by an injury to Chase Leslie on Friday night against Lethbridge.

Danton Belluk returned to the Regina Pats lineup on Saturday, getting into game action in the third period. He had not played in a game with the Pats since October 19th against Red Deer. Belluk had been with the MJHL’s Steinbach Pistons for most of the year but was recalled by the Pats on January 9th.
