Kirby Dach first WHL player selected in the 2019 NHL Draft

Following picks by the New Jersey Devils (Jack Hughes, 1st overall) and New York Rangers (Kaako Kappo, 2nd overall) Kirby Dach of the Saskatoon Blades was selected by the Chicago Blackhawks at 3rd overall.

Dach was highly rated by scouts throughout the hockey world and the Blackhawks honed in on the 6-foot-4 Centreman.

Congratulations to Kirby Dach on being taken third overall.
