-Kootenay’s Connor McClennon was in on all five Canada White goals as they beat the U.S. 5-2 during Day Three of the the World U17 Hockey Challenge.
McClennon now has seven points in just two games, both wins for Canada White.
Edmonton Oil Kings Jake Neighbours had a goal and Sebastian Cossa got the win. Cossa stopped 28-of-30 shots.

Also in Saint John, New Brunswick, Medicine Hat Tigers prospect Garin Bjorklund stopped 22-of-24 shots as Canada Black got their first win at the tournament 3-2 over the Czech Republic.

Canada Red also win in Quispamis, N.B. as Portland’s Seth Jarvis set up the overtime winner and they edged Sweden 3-2. Prince Albert’s Kaiden Guhle also had an assist.
Later today, Canada Black plays the United States, Canada Red challenges Finland and Canada White takes on the Czech Republic.
Anderson-Dolan out for awhile
LA prospect Jaret Anderson-Dolan (Spokane Chiefs) is currently in LA and is expected to have surgery there for a broken bone in his wrist. Likely to be out for six to eight weeks, which could negatively impact his availability for Team CAN at the WJC.

-Spokane co-captain Jaret Anderson-Dolan has reportedly made his way down to L.A. after breaking a bone in his wrist. The center played in two games for the Chiefs before being scratched for both of his team’s games last week.
The timeline for his return could mean that he will not be able to play for Hockey Canada at the U20 World Junior Championships.
Broncos add Briscoe

-The Swift Current Broncos added 1999-born forward Ian Briscoe to their roster. The 19-year-old native of Winnipeg had two goals and three assists for five points in 45 games over two seasons with the Seattle Thunderbirds before being released earlier this year.
The five-foot-10, 172 pound Briscoe was a fifth round pick by Seattle back in 2014.
