- Kirby Dach (Saskatoon) – Three Goals, five points in a massive Saskatoon Blades 8-0 win over Swift Current. The 17-year-old forward was a +3 on the night and went 10-of-23 at the faceoff dot.
- Nolan Yaremko (Tri-City) – The overage captain (at least while Michael Rasmussen is gone) had two goals and two assists for him Americans as they clobbered the Spokane Chiefs in Kennewick 6-1.
- Cole Fonstad (Prince Albert) – The Montreal Canadiens prospect had two goals and added an assist as he was in on all thee goals in the Raiders 3-1 win over the Regina Pats.

Honorable mentions: Zack Andrusiak and Dillon Hamaliuk each had a goal and two assists as the Seattle Thunderbirds edged the visiting Portland Winterhawks… Payton Krebs, Jaeger White and Connor McClennon all had two points apiece in the Kootenay ICE’s 5-3 win over the Calgary Hitmen…David Tendeck solved the Everett Silvertips attack for the second straight night, stopping 27-of-28 and leading his Vancouver Giants to a 3-1 win… Griffen Outhouse and Dean McNabb combined for 28 stops on 29 shots as the Victoria Royals beat the Prince George Cougars 5-1… Taylor Ross led the Lethbridge Hurricanes to a bounce back win over the Medicine Hat Tigers with two points… Stelio Mattheos and Luke Burzan each had two points as Brandon double up Moose 4-2… Wyatt McLeod had his first multi-point WHL game with two assists in Edmonton’s 4-1 victory in Red Deer.
Troubling moments: Justin Nachbaur (Prince Albert) had a five minute major and a game misconduct with 8:54 left in the second period against Regina… Owen Blocker (Lethbridge) went to the hospital but ended up coming back to the rink.
Good news in regard to Hurricanes forward Owen Blocker, who fell into the boards in the first period and was taken off on a stretcher and taken to hospital. The results were negative and he's back at the arena in Medicine Hat. #yql

Firsts: Seth Jarvis (Portland) and Connor McClennon each had their first two WHL goals on night one of their 16-year-old seasons. Justin Sourdif scored his first WHL goal in Vancouver’s win… Import Krystof Hrabik also had his first in Tri-City’s victory… Ridly Greig (Brandon) was another first round pick from 2017 who found the twine in the WHL for the first time.
