Justin Pogge with Kolner Haie BR of the DEL
Justin Pogge (151GP, 79-44-7-4, 2.29, .911 with Prince George and Calgary) has signed a contract to play 2020-21 with Kolner Haie BR of the DEL, Germany’s top professional league. Last season Pogge got his feet wet in the DEL as he played 17 games with Eisbaren Berlin. Pogge won an IIHF World Junior Championship gold medal in 2005-06 while a member of the Calgary Hitmen. He was a 2004 NHL Draft selection in the third round by the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Fort McMurray, AB native has played seven NHL contests, as well as 254 games in the AHL. 2020-21 will be his ninth season overseas.

As announced last week, Colton Yellow Horn signed with CS Csikszereda of the Erste Liga, he is joined by fellow WHL alumni Judd Blackwater (171GP, 50G, 64A with Spokane). Blackwater will be playing his 13th professional season, split between six different leagues. Last season with HK Nitra of Slovakia, Blackwater scored 14 goals and added 19 assists. In 2007-08 Blackwater won the Ed Chynoweth Cup as well as the Memorial Cup with the Spokane Chiefs. He scored one goal at the Memorial Cup.
Rosinskis signs with Laser HT

Rinalds Rosinskis (47GP, 1G, 3A with Prince George) has returned to the ice, this time with Laser HT of the Suomi-sarja, Finland’s third-tier professional hockey league. Last season, Rosinskis did not play hockey. In 2018-19 he skated for Zemgale in Latvia, scoring three times and adding six assists in 36 games.
Pederson signs one-year deal with Arizona Coyotes
Lane Pederson (199GP, 53G, 87A with Seattle, Red Deer, Swift Current) has signed a one-year contract with the Arizona Coyotes. This deal comes after a three-year entry-level contract expired that was signed on October 13, 2016. Last season with the Tucson Roadrunners (the Coyotes AHL affiliate), the Saskatoon, SK native scored 16 goals and added 18 assists in 37 games.
Irving signs extension with HC Bolzano
Leland Irving (195GP, 107-62-3-8, 2.05, .925 with Everett) has signed for a third season with HC Bolzano of the IceHL. Last season Irving played 40 games with Foxes, posting a 24-16 record, with a 2.08 goals-against average and a .927 save percentage. The Barrhead, AB native was a 2006 first-round draft pick of the Calgary Flames and played in 13 NHL games with the team
