Yaremko makes Broncos debut

16-year-old Tyson Yaremko made his DUB debut in a 2-0 loss to the Medicine Hat Tigers on Saturday night in Medicine Hat. The fourth-round pick in the 2020 Bantam Draft (68th overall) from Saskatoon has been toiling with the Saskatoon Blazers U18 team in the SMAAAHL where he has 48 points (24G-24A) in 42 games.

Sawchenko makes first NHL start

24-year-old Zach Sawchenko (Moose Jaw 2013-2017) made his first career NHL start on Sunday for the San Jose Sharks in a 3-2 OT loss to the Anaheim Ducks. The Calgary product stopped 33 of 36 shots in the OT loss. The game was his fifth appearance in the show where he is 0-1-1-0 with a 3.17 goals-against average and .908 save percentage.

In his DUB career, Sawchenko played 177 games with the Warriors where he went 88-65-16 with a 3.11 GAA, .908 SV%, and nine shutouts.

Blades host Police Appreciation Night
