At 12:31 of the second period, 16-year-old Ethan Semeniuk scored his first career WHL goal. The goal gave the Giants a 4-3 lead before they went on to a 6-4 victory over the Prince George Cougars.
Semeniuk, who is from Fort St. John, BC, was selected in the third round of the 2020 WHL Draft by the Giants. It was his second career WHL game.

16-year-old forward Anthony Wilson scored his first career WHL goal at 10:37 of the second period to give the Royals a 3-1 lead over the Kelowna Rockets. The Royals went on to win the game 6-3.
Wilson, who is from Swift Current, SK, was selected by the Royals in the third round of the 2020 WHL Draft. He was playing in his second WHL game.

With 33 saves on 36 shots, 18-year-old goaltender Tyler Palmer earned his first WHL win as the Victoria Royals downed the Kelowna Rockets 6-3.
Palmer, who is from Lethbridge, AB, was selected in the 10th round of the 2018 WHL Draft by the Spokane Chiefs. He was playing in his second WHL game.
Segafredo scores his first WHL goal

With the Seattle Thunderbirds down 1-0 early in the first period, Alessandro Segafredo scored his first WHL goal to tie the contest at 9:57. The Thunderbirds went on to defeat the Spokane Chiefs 5-3.
Segafredo, who hails from Asiago, Italy, was the 41st overall pick at the 2021 CHL Import Draft. He was playing in his second WHL game.

17-year-old Moose Jaw Warriors defenceman Matthew Gallant scored his first WHL goal to give the Warriors a 3-2 lead over the Regina Pats. They went on to win by the same score.
Gallant, who is from Langley, BC scored the goal in his third WHL game. Gallant is a prospect that was listed by the Warriors.
Hodass scores his first WHL goal
Lukas Svejkovksy has a pair and Bogdans Hodass has his first career WHL goal as the Tigers are up 3-1 in the 3rd period.

18-year-old defenceman Bogdans Hodass scored his first WHL goal 20 seconds into the third period to give the Tigers a 3-1 lead. The team went on to beat the Red Deer Rebels 4-2.
Hodass, who is from Jelgava, Latvia, was selected 71st overall at the 2021 CHL Import Draft. He was playing in his third WHL game.

With 8:25 to play in the third period, 17-year-old Luke Schelter scored his first WHL goal, the eventual game-winner, to give the Portland Winterhawks a 3-2 lead on the Seattle Thunderbirds. The Winterhawks went on to win 4-2.
Schelter, who is from Centennial, CO, was drafted in the sixth round of the 2019 WHL Draft by the Winterhawks. It was his 10th game.

Stopping 28 of 30 shots sent his way, 18-year-old goaltender Lochlan Gordon earned his first WHL win over the Seattle Thunderbirds, 4-2.
Gordon, who is from Edmonton, AB, was selected by the Winterhawks in the third round of the 2018 WHL Draft. It was his first WHL regular-season game.
Proske hits the back of the net for his first goal

Spokane Chiefs 18-year-old forward Yannick Proske scored his first WHL goal at 13:19 of the second period to give his team a 4-1 lead over the Tri-City Americans. They went on to win 5-1.
Proske, who is from WeiBwasser, Germany, was selected 110th overall at the 2021 CHL Import Draft by the Chiefs. He was playing in his third WHL game.

16-year-old defenceman Caden Price and 17-year-old forward Max Graham scored their first goals in Kelowna’s 6-4 win over the Victoria Royals.
Price’s goal came at 12:44 of the second period and was the eventual game-winning goal. Price was a second-round pick at the 2020 WHL Draft. He was playing his second WHL game.
Graham’s goal came at 19:30 of the third period and sealed the win for the Rockets. The Rockets picked up Graham from the Everett Silvertips on August 26th. He was playing in his 20th WHL game.

16-year-old defenceman Tanner Molendyk opened the scoring with his first WHL goal. The goal came at 4:56 of the first period and gave the Saskatoon Blades an early lead over the Brandon Wheat Kings. They went on to win 6-2.
Molendyk, who hails from McBride, BC, was the fifth overall pick at the 2020 WHL Draft. He was playing in his 20th WHL game.

17-year-old forward Shea Van Olm and 16-year-old forward John Szabo scored their first goals in the Edmonton Oil Kings 3-2 shootout loss.
Van Olm, who hails from Calgary, AB, was playing in his 12th WHL game. The Oil Kings selected him in the sixth round of the 2019 WHL Draft.
Szabo, who is from Lethbridge, AB, was playing in his fifth WHL game. He is a sixth-round 2020 WHL Draft pick.
Williams joins ASC Corona Brasov
21-year-old defenceman Owen Williams (13 goals, 45 assists in 217 games with Regina, Seattle, and Swift Current 2016-21) has signed with ASC Corona Brasov of the Erste Liga in Romania.
Last season as an assistant captain with the Swift Current Broncos, Williams scored five goals and added 10 assists in 24 games.

26-year-old defenceman Clint Filbrandt (1 goal, 1 assist in 40 games with Tri-City and Kootenay 2012-14) has been invited to the ECHL’s Idaho Steelheads training camp.
Filbrandt, who is from Calgary, AB, spent the last two seasons playing for DEAC of the Erste Liga. He scored eight goals and added 21 assists in 70 games.
