Vancouver Giants leading scorer Tristen Nielsen was suspended one game for this hit on Kelowna’s Mark Liwiski. Giants coach head coach Michael Dyck told our Stephen Hawco that he thought the play was selfish.

Sticking with the Giants, Zach Ostapchuk was not in the lineup on Sunday in Kelowna. Steve Ewen at The Province reports he was seen on crutches after leaving Saturday’s game in the second period.
