Winnipeg ICE unveil team’s first training camp roster

The Winnipeg ICE will take to the ice for their inaugural training camp on Wednesday August 28th. The team will use the RINK Training Centre for their ice times which is located in the city’s southwest. Training camp will culminate in the awarding of the Jarrett Stoll Cup.

Missing from the 2019 Bantam Draft is just one player, the team’s fourth round selection, Rieger Lorenz, a University of Denver committed player. All other picks from 2019 as well as the full contingent from 2018 are slated to be in attendance.

Also of note, Peyton Krebs remains out of action, and he is joined by veteran goaltender Jesse Makaj.

Everett got in on the fun, announcing their training camp roster also on Wednesday. DUBNetwork’s own Julia Hamilton wrote about it in a article you can find HERE.

Overage player Lucas Cullen is not on the roster for the Silvertips, leaving the team with four overage players on the roster (assuming Dewar and Sutter turn pro).
