Prince George Cougars forward Jackson Leppard missed Saturday’s game against the Victoria Royals with an injury. According to the team, it’s a lower-body injury and they expect him back in the lineup when the team returns to the ice at home against the Kelowna Rockets on Friday.

Weather conditions hamper WHL travel plans

Both the Lethbridge Hurricanes and Medicine Hat Tigers are electing to spend an extra night in Edmonton and Calgary respectively as the prairie province has been hit by snow causing havoc on Highway 1. The Tigers Fan Bus did not make the trip to Calgary because of the weather.
