Forward Nolan Patrick (92 goals, 113 assists in 163 games with Brandon from 2014-17) was traded from the Philadelphia Flyers to the Nashville Predators on Saturday along with defenseman Philippe Myers in exchange for defenseman Ryan Ellis.
Patrick, a 22-year-old from Winnipeg, MB, was the second overall pick by the Flyers in the 2017 NHL Draft. He posted 70 points in 197 games with Philly over the last four season.

Forward Cody Glass (94 goals, 198 assists in 239 games with Portland from 2015-19) was acquired by the Nashville Predators on Saturday from the Vegas Golden Knights in exchange for forward Nolan Patrick.
Glass, who’s from Winnipeg, MB, split the 2020-21 season between the Golden Knights and the Henderson Silver Knights of the American Hockey League. The 22-year-old posted 10 points in 27 NHL games and 10 points in 14 AHL games.
Hill traded from Arizona to San Jose

Goaltender Adin Hill (67-38-7, 2.86 GAA, .919 SV%, 5 SO in 115 games with Portland from 2013-16) and a seventh-round selection in the 2022 NHL Draft were acquired by the San Jose Sharks on Saturday from the Arizona Coyotes in exchange for netminder Josef Korenar and the Sharks’ second-round pick in the 2022 NHL Draft.
The 25-year-old Hill, who’s from Comox, BC, was 9-9-1 with a 2.74 goals-against-average, a .913 save percentage, and two shutouts in 19 games with the Coyotes in 2020-21.
He was also 0-2 with a 4.13 goals-against-average and an .814 save percentage in a pair of games with the Tuscon Roadrunners of the American Hockey League.
Howden goes from the Rangers to Vegas

The New York Rangers traded forward Brett Howden (109 goals, 158 assists in 248 games with Moose Jaw from 2014-18) to the Vegas Golden Knights on Saturday in exchange for a fourth-round pick in the 2022 NHL Draft along with defenseman Nick DeSimone.
The 23-year-old Oakbank, MB native notched 16 goals and 49 points in 178 games with the Blueshirts over the last three seasons. He was selected in the first round, 27th overall, by Tampa Bay in the 2016 NHL Draft.
Ladd leaves Long Island for Arizona

Forward Andrew Ladd (49 goals, 71 assists in 137 games with Vancouver and Calgary between 2001 and 2005) was traded from the New York Islanders to the Arizona Coyotes on Saturday along with three draft picks. Neither team announced what the Isles get in the deal.
Ladd, who hails from Maple Ridge, BC, only played one game in 2020-21. It came with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the AHL and he didn’t post any points. He also spent time on New York’s taxi squad.
The 35-year-old is signed to a $5.5-million a year contract through the 2022-23 season but has battled knee injuries over the last two seasons.
Popoff takes his career to France
Forward Carter Popoff (64 goals, 115 assists in 273 games with Vancouver from 2012-16) has signed with Neuilly-sur-Marne of the French Ice Hockey Federation Division 1 for the 2021-22 season.
The 26-year-old from Richmond, BC spent the last five seasons playing U SPORTS hockey with the University of British Columbia. In 110 games with UBC, Popoff posted 57 points.
