ICE sign 2002-born Danis from protected list

The Winnipeg ICE has signed 2002-born forward Logan Danis to a WHL Player Agreement. The Winnipeg, Manitoba native had been on the ICE 50-man protected list since January 2018 when the team was still based out of Kootenay. In the 2017-18 season, Danis played for the RINK Hockey Academy Elite 15 squad posting 21 goals and 25 assists in 36 games. Last season, Danis played for the RINK Hockey Academy Prep Team and put up 14 goals with 23 assists. As a 2002-born player, Danis will be eligible to suit up for the ICE as early as this season and he could be one of five 2002-born forwards on the roster.
