Daily Dose of the Dub: Giants sign Camazzola, Raiders announce return of coaching staff and more

Giants sign 03-born Camazzola

The Vancouver Giants have signed 2003-born defenseman Nicco Camazzola to a WHL Player Agreement. The Giants selected Camazzola from the CSSHL’s Burnaby Winter Club with their fourth-round pick in the 2018 WHL Bantam Draft. In his bantam season, he registered two goals and eight assists in 30 games with 54 penalty minutes. Last year, the six-foot-one, 187-pound defenseman made the switch to the BCMML where he played for the Vancouver North East Chiefs. He suited up for 40 games with the Chiefs garnering five assists and leading the team with 78 penalty minutes. He is the fourth member of the Giants 2018 draft class to sign with the team.
