Victoria Royals 2002-born goaltender Connor Martin earned his first WHL win in a 3-2 overtime win over the Prince George Cougars. Martin made 43 saves on 45 shots to improve his career record to 1-2-0-1, with a 2.94 goals-against average and a .913 save percentage.

Victoria Royals 2003-born defenseman Gannon Laroque scored his first WHL goal at 13:44 of the second period to give the Royals a 2-0 lead. They went on to win 3-2 in overtime. Laroque was playing his seventh WHL game.

2001-born forward Tarun Fizer hit the 100 career point mark when he assisted on Gannon Laroque’s second-period goal. Fizer has scored 36 goals and added 65 assists through 175 career games. Fizer is a fourth-round draft pick of the Royals from the 2016 WHL Draft.

Anaheim Ducks prospect Brayden Tracey hit 150 points when he scored on the power play in the second period of last night’s 3-2 win over the Prince George Cougars. Tracey finished the night with three points giving him 152 in his career. Tracey, a 2016 first-round draft pick of the Moose Jaw Warriors, has 61 goals and 91 assists.
