Kelowna leads the way with five players listed, while Edmonton has four. Prince Albert, Swift Current and Victoria were the only teams without a player listed.

 Three stars of the night:

  1. James Malm – first career hat trick for the Vancouver Giants center as his team beat the Kelowna Rockets 5-0. The Rockets have dropped their five of their first six games this year, all within the B.C. Division. Malm now leads the WHL in goals with seven through five games.
  2. Cody Glass- a goal and two assists for three points. Three seems to be the magic number for him as he has had three points in each of the three games he has played in the WHL so far this year. Seven different Winterhawks scored and all but four got at least one point as they blew by the Kamloops Blazers in Kamloops 7-3.
  3. Max Martin – two goals and an assist for three points as the Prince Albert Raiders remained unbeaten with a 5-1 win over the Medicine Hat Tigers. The 6-0 Raiders are outscoring opponents 29-12 so far this year.

Honorable mention:

-Eric Florchuk scored twice as the Saskatoon Blades got back in the win column, beating the Edmonton Oil Kings 5-3. The loss was the first for Edmonton this year after winning their first five. Brandon Schuldhaus netted a point with his new team.
