The Kelowna Rockets have released their schedule for the coming season. They will only play games against the BC Division and US Division this season as per the WHL’s previous announcement.

Weekend games at Prospera Place
26 of the 34 homes game this season occur on either Friday or Saturday. There are no home games on Sunday.

Back to backs galore
This season, the Rockets will play 25 back-to-back series. Included in the 23 are two different three games in three nights series.
Not much weekday action
The Rockets only play 16 of the 68 game schedule from Monday to Thursday. Fans will have to wait for the weekend to experience Rockets hockey in most cases.
Home opener and season opener
The Rockets will open up their season at Prospera Place on October 2nd against the Everett Silvertips. A week later, they are off to Victoria for a Friday, Oct 8, and Saturday, October 9 games against the Victoria Royals.

November 10 games – 5 home, 5 road
December 10 games – 6 home, 4 road
January 14 games – 6 home, 8 road
February 11 games – 6 home, 5 road
March 12 games – 6 home, 6 road

Longest Home Stand and Road Trip
The Rockets have two four-game homestands this season. The first is Friday, December 10 to Saturday, December 18. The second being Wednesday, February 9-Wednesday February 16. The longest road trip is five games from Friday, November 12 to Friday, November 26.
Key Dates
Although the Rockets do not start their season against the Blazers, they have a two key home and home series against their heated rivals near the end of the season. March 18-19 and March 25-26. The Rockets’ final 16 games are all against BC Division rivals.
Get Excited
There is lots of excitement around the Rockets. Last year’s leading scorer, Trevor Wong along with defensive stars Jake Lee, Tyson Feist, and Sean Comrie. The Rockets have every intention of going not only for the WHL Championship but the Memorial Cup.
