DUBNetwork learned on Friday that the Kelowna Rockets had jerseys designed for this year’s Memorial Cup but had not yet reached the point of production when the season was canceled in March.

Speaking of those Memorial Cup Jerseys, the CHL said on Friday that proceeds from special commemorative Memorial Cup jerseys over the last 10 years have raised over $245 thousand dollars for the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund.

Alexander Kuvayev (92 GP, 13 G, 24 A with the Lethbridge Hurricanes and Vancouver Giants from 2010-2012) signed a contract extension with Molot-Prikamie Perm in Russia. Last year in 43 games he had six goals and 10 assists.

Ray Allison (62 GP, 60 G, 93 A with the Brandon Wheat Kings from 1978-1979 in the WHL, 180 GP, 128 G, 195 A with the Wheaties in the old WCHL from 1975-1978) will have a street named after him in the new Bellafield development just south of Brandon, Manitoba.
