Swift Current Broncos defenseman Garrett Sambrook has been suspended one game for this hit on Saskatoon’s Zach Huber. He will be out on Wednesday vs. Brandon and be eligible to return on Friday vs. Moose Jaw.

Marleau off to Pittsburgh

Patrick Marleau (143 GP, 83 G, 116 A with the Seattle Thunderbirds from 1995-1997) was traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins by the San Jose Sharks for a third-round pick in 2021.
