The Everett Silvertips have released Jack Lambert from the active roster. The sixteen-year-old forward played in four games with Everett tallying one assist. He won’t be going far as he’s expected to join the Everett Jr. Silvertips of the NAPHL.

The Calgary Hitmen will be holding a press conference Friday morning to make an announcement about their November 2nd game where they plan to honour their namesake Bret “The Hitman” Hart. The night will include a pre-game photo booth with Bret Hart with proceeds going to the Calgary Prostate Cancer Centre. Post-game, The Hitmen will partner with the Prairie Wrestling Association to put on a wrestling card in a ring on the ice. Our Freddy Mayer will have all the details following the press conference.
Rockets also plan a press conference on Friday
In a press release, the Kelowna Rockets say they will also hold a press conference on Friday morning outside the team’s locker room. There’s no word on what this announcement entails, so keep checking this site for updates on the announcement. Gropp suspended for failure to report to ECHL
Ryan Gropp, 41st overall in 2015, has been suspended by Wolf Pack for failure to report as assigned to ECHL Maine.

Ryan Gropp (258 GP, 117 G, 137 A with the Seattle Thunderbirds) has been suspended by the AHL’s Hartford Wolf Pack for failure to report to the ECHL’s Maine Mariners after being reassigned there on Wednesday. Gropp has played one game with the Wolf Pack this year in which he was held off the scoresheet.
Kudelka signs in Czech Republic
Tomáš Kudělka (Lethbridge, 2005-2007) signed contract for rest of this season with Vsetín (Czech Republic, 1. Liga). Last season with Medveščak Zagreb (Croatia, Erste Bank Liga) 24 GP, 2+4; Innsbruck (Austria, Erste Bank Liga) 25 GP, 2+4.

Tomas Kudelka (123 GP, 20 G, 52 A with the Lethbridge Hurricanes) has signed in the Czech Republic for the remainder of the season. The 32-year-old defenseman split last season between Austria and Croatia recording four goals and eight assists in 49 games.
