Off to a slow start, the Regina Pats have brought in some help for their blue line acquiring Zach Wytinck from the Brandon Wheat Kings for a fifth-round pick in the 2022 WHL Bantam Draft. Wytinck will bring offense to the Pats blue line as he’s already notched three points in seven games this year. The Pats will now have to move out one of Wytinck, captain Austin Pratt, Robbie Holmes or Dawson Holt to meet the WHL rules on overage players. They join the Seattle Thunderbirds as teams with tough decisions to make ahead of today’s overage deadline.
