Gary Haden wants out of Medicine Hat

-The 1999-born native of Airdrie, Alberta reportedly is asking for a trade from the Medicine Hat Tigers. Haden was originally drafted by the Regina Pats back in 2014 but never played for them. Instead he was traded to the Tigers at the trade deadline of the 2015-16 season as part of the deal for Cole Sanford.
In all the Tigers got a second round pick in 2018, third round pick in 2016, 2017 fifth round pick, Haden and overage player Brian Williams.

- Brett Leason – Two goals and an assist for the Prince Albert Raiders forward in his team’s 6-2 road win over the Saskatoon Blades. It was the Raiders first win in Saskatoon since 2014. Leason now has tied Joachim Blichfeld atop the WHL points-leaderboard with 22 points in 11 games.
- Nick Henry – The Colorado Avalanche prospect had two assists in regulation and then netted the overtime winner as the Regina Pats edged the Calgary Hitmen 4-3.
- Taylor Gauthier– 45 saves for the Prince George Cougars goalie as his team edged the Kootenay ICE on the road 2-1 in overtime. The Cougars finished their mini trip to the Central Division 2-1. Ilijah Colina had the overtime winner.

–Akash Bains had a goal and an assist as the Everett Silvertips took down the Portland Winterhawks despite allowing 10 power plays… The Winterhawks five-game win streak was snapped… Milos Roman had two goals for the Vancouver Giants as they edged the Victoria Royals 3-2, handing the Royals their first loss on the season… The Royals were the last team to lose a game in the 2018-19 season.

Mike MacLean became the fourth Prince George Cougar to be suspended this year as he got one game for his hit on Saturday.
