Master favorite? – HCB Captain Frank: “In Bolzano, expectations are always very high!”

This morning, the Sparkasse Arena in Bolzano of the Media Day of HCB South Tyrol Alperia took place in the Alperia Energy Lounge of the Sparkasse Arena. Numerous journalists from television, print, radio and web were present, as managing directors and sports director Dieter Knoll drew an interim balance for the coming season in which the Foxes will compete in both the championship and in the Champions Hockey League.

The team was presented at the beginning of the press conference. “My philosophy is simple – explains Coach Kleinendorst – the goal is to concentrate on the process that should lead to victory: it does not bring anything to speak only of the profit. We have to be a group that works every day, show sporting ethics and willingness to sacrifice. I saw very good things in these first two weeks. In a little more than a week we have the first mandatory game in the CHL, and I have a team full of 60 minutes is concentrated. “

Captain Daniel Frank, who goes into his 13th season in the white-red jersey, also spoke: “The team is already very closed, and I have to say that the camp in Corvara helped as always to get to know each other better. In Bolzano, expectations are always very high-it is up to us, all the experience and quality that the club has brought into the squad.”

Knoll added: “We wanted to add experience and height to the team and focused particularly on strengthening the defense. For us not only counts the technical skills of a player, but above all the human qualities. I believe that we can build on real professionals, guided by a trainer from the format of a small dorst with whom we were in contact years ago.” On the subject of competitions, he continued: “It is an honor to be able to participate in the Champions Hockey League. Every positive success we bring home is a win. However, our main goal remains the eehl, which is even more staffed this year: I believe that at least ten teams have realistic opportunities to fight a place in the Top Six.” Knoll also thanked the sponsors – among other things, Matthias Gögele, Senior Event Manager of the Forest – went into the support of the audience: “Last year we broke the audience record with an average of over 3,300 fans per game and had some sold -out games, for example against HC Pustertal. This year we hope to exaggerate these numbers – I feel a great enthusiasm under the fans.”

Finally, the President of HCBFANS, Bruno Flor, presented the tenth edition of the combat price “Gino Pasqualotto”, with which the player is awarded every year, who has emerged through operational readiness and special attachment to the jersey.
