The Austrian national ice hockey team is in the middle of preparing for the World Cup in Switzerland. A Legionnaire will definitely not join the team.
This week the national team has two test matches against the Czech Republic on the agenda before they enter the home stretch of preparation. After that there are still two tests against Germany and one against Slovenia. The World Cup begins for the ÖEHV selection on May 16th against Great Britain.
Marco Kasper will not be in Roger Bader’s squad. Again “ORF” reports, the striker has not received clearance from the Detroit Red Wings.
