With a German passport: Ex-KAC and Haie strikers stay in Germany!

Nine seasons, 399 games and 284 points-Tyler Spurgeon has made a name for itself in the Icehl at the EC-KAC and the Innsbruck sharks. The center forward, born in Edmonton, was one of the most constant offensive forces in the league for years and shaped the events on the ice with his playing style as well as with his leadership – now the striker is getting German citizens!

After his successful time in Austria, Spurgeon moved to the DEL2 to ESV Kaufbeuren in 2020. There he played until the 2023/24 season and was captain of the Germans for four years. Last season he moved to the ECDC Memmingen Indians to the top division and impressed with 48 points in 47 main round games in his debut season, plus top scorers and the best scorer of the playoffs.

Just in time for the start of preparation, the left -wing shooter received the positive feedback on the second necessary test for its naturalization. Few formalities still separate it from the German passport. With his obligation, the Memmingen squad is complete.
