Winnipeg wins in extension in Seattle

The Nino Niederreiter jets, who beat Seattle 3-2 after extension, display the best record in the league with 2 points ahead – and one more match – than the Washington Capitals.

The jets overturned a situation compromised on the ice of the Kraken, which led 2-0 after 15’23. They were able to equalize at 2-2 from the 32nd minute, thanks to the 36th goal of the season of Kyle Connor, and passed the shoulder on a success of their defender Dylan Samberg after 1’47 in “Overtime”.

Nino Niederreiter has once again been discreet in this part. The Grison striker did not score the slightest goal in his last 13 games. And during these 13 games, he only succeeded in one point, an assist that allowed him to reach the 30 -point mark in this 2024/25 exercise.

Two other Swiss were hired Sunday in NHL. The Vancouver Canucks du Zurichois Pius Suter, who slept on two row successes, bowed 3-1 against Utah Hockey Club. They retain 8th place in the Western Conference, but tied with St. Louis (9th) and only 2 points ahead of Calgary (10th).

Second from the Western Conference – but 11 lengths behind the jets, the Dallas Stars of the Soleurois Lian Bichsel have also experienced the defeat, the third in their last four outings. The Texan franchise was beaten 4-3 after extension on the ice of the Colorado avalanche.
