VSV wins its Preseason degree against Rosenheim!

The EC IDM heat pump VSV had a long time in the test game against the DEL2 representative Starbulls Rosenheim, but was able to prevail 3-1 thanks to a strong medium and final third. Scherbak, Lindner and Hutchison scored the goals for the blue and white, Cannata showed in the goal with some remarkable parades.

1. third

The “eagles” started with Cannata in the goal and made a powerful start. Divillacher showed up very enthusiastically, especially on the offensive: with 13: 4 goal shots, Blau-Weiß had significantly more off the game, but could not convert his chances into goals. The VSV also did not always look defensive, and so the guests took their first good opportunity in minute 15: After a turnover from Strong in the neutral zone, a Schlenzer from Tiffels found the way to the right side, Cannata was adjusted. With this 0-1 deficit it went into the first break.

2. third

After an unsafe initial phase in the middle third, Villach stabilized and came into play better and better. In minute 32, Hancock forced Bavaria’s loss loss in the course of an aggressive forecheck, Hughes put exemplary in the slot on Scherbak, who defeated Rosenheim-Goalie Autio with a placed half-high shot. Otherwise, the middle third was shaped by many interruptions, icings and bad passes on both sides. The focus was mostly on the goalkeepers, who drew attention to themselves with a few parades. Cannata parried two deflected remote shots worth seeing, Autio prevented two solo proceeds from the “eagles”.

3. third

The blue and white caught a dream start in the final third: First Lindner hammered the disc from the left Bullykreis-after a fantastic Scherbak-Querpass-exactly into the Kreuzeck (41st), just a minute later, Hutchison, after a poke in the slot over the shoulder of Autio, put 3-1 for the VSV. After that, the game flattened, both teams seemed tired and rather uncreative in their game design.

Shortly before the end, Villach had to tremble again after a double penalty (Wallenta and Hughes), but the outnumbered game also kept in dangerous moments – at times the Bavarians even acted six. In the end, the “eagles” celebrated a hard-developed but deserved 3: 1 test game success against Starbulls Rosenheim.
