VSV talent Sintschnig: “I suck up a lot of knowledge every day”

After three defeats in a row, the VSV was impressively back with an 8: 3 success in Linz. The man of the hour was only 16-year-old talent Paul Sintschnig.

The exceptional talent for the first time hit the ICE Hockey League twice and thus underlined its strong development. Despite the success, the youngster remains grounded to the “Kleine Zeitung”: “I don’t want to speak of a regular place yet. I want to increase every day and get better every day.” He sees improvement potential himself during his consistency over the entire season.

Sintschnig immediately found the right chemistry in the attack formation with Maximilian Rebernig and Alexander Rauchwald. “It is a lot of fun with the two. That helps me to exploit my full potential,” he said. “I suck up a lot of knowledge every day.”

According to the “Kleine Zeitung”, several clubs from abroad have knocked on the 16-year-old, but it is still too early for a change. “In summer it was impossible for me to go away. As long as I can develop at the VSV and get enough ice age, I see no reason to change abroad,” emphasizes the talent.

On Sunday (12.30 p.m.) the next task is waiting for the blue and white away at the Graz 99ers. “We actually have nothing to lose – so we can only win,” said Sintschnig optimistic.
