The EC VSV had to defeat the German DEL club Grizzlys Wolfsburg in a gripping test game on Friday evening. Despite the defeat, sports director Herbert Hohenberger was more than satisfied with the “Kleine Zeitung”.
Steven Strong, newcomer Nick Hutchison and veteran John Hughes, who was twice successful, took care of the goals of the Villacher. Above all, the VSV showed that it can keep up with playful opponents, even if in the end it was not enough for a sense of achievement.
