The EC iDM Heat Pumps VSV still has to do without one of its most important offensive players. Nikita Scherbak, the Eagles’ top scorer until his injury, has been missing for around two weeks now. The striker is suffering from persistent back problems and there is still no sign of an imminent return.
Scherbak is also not available for the upcoming game against feared opponents Laibach. According to the “Kronen Zeitung”, even a comeback after the Olympic break is currently considered questionable. The loss is serious because without its most dangerous points collector, VSV has recently had a difficult time, especially in the final stages.
