Defender Alex Wall should continue to be available in the coming season
EC VSV accrue. According to the “Kleine Zeitung”, the 35-year-old defender also has a valid contract in Villach for 2026/27.
The Canadian has been under contract with VSV since 2023 and has been one of the most consistent defenders in the squad since then. In the current 2025/26 season he had 20 points (5 goals, 15 assists) from 46 games.
His league record is also impressive: Wall played a total of 432 games in the ICEHL and collected 247 scorer points. The left-handed shooter was previously with the team for five years
Vienna Capitals active and established himself there as a strong offensive defender.
It has not yet been officially confirmed whether the Canadian is now entering his ninth ICEHL season.
