VSV crack John Hughes is about to reach a big career milestone!

Veteran John Hughes continues to write his impressive career story: EC VSV’s crowd favorite is about to celebrate a very special anniversary – its 1,000th. Professional game.

Since the 2008/09 season, the Canadian, who now also has Austrian citizenship, has played in the ICEHL (formerly EBEL) for all but one season. Now the striker will play his 1000th professional game against HC Pustertal this evening and thus reach another milestone in his impressive career. In the league, Hughes played for Red Bull Salzburg, Olimpija Laibach and EC VSV. The right-handed shooter was able to win the title twice with the Bulls. He was also voted league MVP twice!
