Violent fan riots in Icehl test game-several injuries!

In the yesterday’s test game of the HC Bolzano in the course of the Summer Classics, there were unsightly scenes: Even before the fox celebrated its premiere as part of the preparation tournament, there were massive arguments between rival fishing groups.

Immediately after the first semi-finals-Škoda Pilsen prevailed 3-0 against the EHC Kloten-around 60 hooded trailers from Switzerland stormed towards the Bozner fan meeting in Galvianstraße. There, some Ultras of the HCB and a small group of friendly fans from Garmisch had attuned to the upcoming game.

Short, but violent

According to “Sportnews”, the situation escalated within a few minutes: there were deserts and wrangles before the few police officers on site were able to separate the camps. Several people suffered minor injuries, but refrained from medical help.

No uninvolved affected

The riots occurred around an hour and a half before the game started when only a few visitors were in the stadium environment. Fortunately, no uninvolved people were affected. After the Kloten ultras fled into the surrounding streets of the Bozner industrial zone, the situation quickly calmed down again.
