The 21-year-old striker Vinzenz Rohrer ended up in Zurich on Sunday morning and will again appear for the ZSC Lions in the coming season 2025/26. After the end of the NHL camp at the Montreal Canadiens, the young Austrian is drawn back to Switzerland-on the recommendation of the Canadian organization itself.
The Canadiens found only praising words for their talent. Rohrer did a “impeccable job” in the training camp and demonstrated his great potential. Those responsible in Montreal are convinced that one day the striker can survive in the NHL. For his personal development, however, it is the right step to first collect further game practice and responsibility in Zurich.
Rohrer continues his career at Zurich, where he had previously gained valuable experience in the professional squad. For the Lions, the return of the own plant means an important reinforcement on the offensive.
