Despite a shot ratio of 42:33, the Vienna Capitals move into a violent 0: 7 loss to Slovan Bratislava on Thursday evening. The reason for this was a well -laid out gymnast Elson, who poured four goals for the Viennese (16./PP1, 18th, 30th /pp1, 32./PP1).
On the other hand, Slovan goalie Patrik Andrisik remained without a goal despite great shelling. Caps head coach Gerry Fleming were not available to four players against the HC Slovan Bratislava. Armin Preiser and Felix Koschek were missing due to injury, Raphael Wolf and Lorenz Lindner were approved. In the goal, the head coach trusted Sebastian Wraneschitz. The Viennese got off to a better start to this game, because after just a few seconds they found the first good chance. Benjamin Lanzinger came to the end directly in front of Slovan goalie Patrik Andrisik, but only hit the outside network. In the fourth minute, Sam Antonitsch blocked a shot from Patrik Maier and then came to the end, but did not hit. Randy Gazzola then missed the gate. A minute later, Carter Souch was unsuccessful before Andrisik. In the seventh minute, Wraneschitz also got something to do. The Viennese parried an attempt by Sena Acolate. Wraneschitz was then redeemed by Fleming, Evan Cowley subsequently kept the goal. In the 36th minute there was the next punishment against the Viennese, this time against Cole Hults for high sticks. This time the capital survived this output game unscathed. In the 39th minute, Cowley parried a shot from Ryan O’Connor. A few seconds before the end of the third, Franklin and Acolats came together after a save.
