The Vienna Capitals appoint Kevin Constantine as the 13th head coach in the club’s history. The 66-year-old American, who can look back on seven seasons as a head coach in the NHL, signed a contract until the end of the season.

Constantine also has success in the win2day ICE Hockey League. The American led Hydro Fehérvár AV19 to the final in the 2021/22 season after a third place in the basic round. Constantine prevailed over his competitors in an extensive selection process, which was led by the sporting director Christian Dolezal and the Vienna Capitals’ sporting advisor Christian Perthaler, due to his meticulous work style and his ability to provide the team with an effective game system.
