The Vancouver Canucks have ended their losing streak in the North American ice hockey league NHL with Marco Rossi. The Canadians beat the Chicago Blackhawks 6-3 and left the ice as winners after seven encounters without success. The 24-year-old from Vorarlberg provided the assist for Brock Boeser’s empty-net goal a few seconds before the end, meaning the local center now has six goals and twelve assists this season.
The Canucks won the game thanks to a strong final third with three goals. Two days earlier, Rossi, who was transferred from the Minnesota Wild to the Canucks in mid-December and was then sidelined with an injury for a month and a half, had already scored a goal and an assist in the 4:6 win against the Carolina Hurricanes.

Marco Kasper suffered a 3-1 home defeat with the Detroit Red Wings against the Florida Panthers.
