Vallant move to Graz? – The VSV clarifies!

In the win2day ICE Hockey League, a report from the “Kronen Zeitung” caused a stir: The Moser Medical Graz99ers are said to be very interested in VSV defender Thomas Vallant. According to the league statutes, a possible change within the league would have been possible until February 16th.

The Graz team would have wanted to strengthen their defense for the decisive phase of the season, provided that the VSV would agree to the transfer and accept a transfer fee.

The EC VSV has now officially responded to the speculation. The club website emphasizes that Vallant was placed on the new “Protected List” of the win2day ICE Hockey League in January due to his sporting importance for the club. Players on this list may not be released until the transfer deadline.

This makes it clear: Thomas Vallant’s move to the Graz99ers is not possible this season. The defender will remain an integral part of the VSV defense for the time being.
