Austria’s NHL-Youngsters mixed in the first test games-especially Marco Rossi, who shone for Minnesota with a double pack, while Kasper, Reinbacher and Rohrer remained without points.
Marco Rossi immediately set an exclamation mark for the Minnesota Wild on his first test game appearance. The Vorarlberger scored both goals for the game in the 2: 5 against the Dallas Stars and even gave his team 2-0 with a double strike within just ten seconds. Despite Rossi’s gala minutes, however, the game tipped significantly in favor of the stars. Rossi received a lot of ice age and acted in the first line as a center between Matt Boldy and Superstar Kirill Kaprizov.
Marco Kasper was also used in the preparation of the NHL. With the Detroit Red Wings, the young striker clearly won 5-2 against the Buffalo Sabres, but remained without scorer.
It was less pleasant for the Montreal Canadiens: David Reinbacher and Vinzenz Rohrer and their team conceded a clear 2: 7 home defeat against the Toronto Maple Leaf. Both Austrians also remained without points.
