In the 2024/25 season, the Swede Jonas Gunnarsson guarded the goal for the Moser Medical Graz99ers, but the collaboration ended in the summer despite an ongoing contract. After a season in his native Sweden, the goalkeeper is back on the market.
Gunnarsson joined the Mur in the summer of 2024 and celebrated 19 wins this season with the Graz99ers. After Graz’s exit from the playoffs, changes were necessary and these didn’t stop at the goalkeeper position. It was agreed to terminate the working paper, which actually runs until 2026, and signed top goalkeeper Maxime Lagace.
Gunnarsson then went to his native Sweden to AIK Stockholm. The capital club currently plays in the Swedish Allsvenskan. The keeper couldn’t really convince there. In 21 games he only had a catch rate of 88.1%. The contract was therefore not extended.
