After a month-long break, a well-known goalscorer could soon be back in the win2day ICE Hockey League. Matteo Gennaro is apparently on the verge of a comeback in the ICEHL.
The 28-year-old center was in high demand last summer after two strong seasons with Asiago Hockey (41 goals in total). Several ICEHL clubs were intensively interested in signing the Canadian before a training injury abruptly ended all discussions. Gennaro was out for several months and was forced to put his career on hold for the time being.
Fit again and returning to the ICEHL?
Gennaro has now fully recovered and is ready to return to professional business. According to “Eliteprospects”, the Canadian with an Italian passport could play at HC Bozen.
