Transfer hammer in Klagenfurt: Mathias From is leaving the KAC!

At the
EC-KAC
A significant change is looming: top performers
Mathias From
will leave the club after two successful years – this is reported by the “Kronen Zeitung”.

Top scorer is looking for a new challenge

From was one of the league’s dominant offensive players last season. With 60 points from 50 games – divided into 30 goals and 30 assists – the Dane was the driving force in the KAC’s attacking game.

Despite these strong performances, there will be no contract extension. The 28-year-old consciously decided on a change of scenery to take the next step in his career.

Several leagues are vying for the Dane

The winger’s achievements have not gone unnoticed internationally. According to “Krone”, clubs from Finland, Germany and the Czech Republic are particularly interested. A move to the Finnish league is currently considered the most likely option, but concrete decisions are still pending.

An important component is lost

With From, the KAC not only loses its most dangerous goalscorer, but also a versatile offensive player who could decide games single-handedly. His speed, finishing skills and game intelligence made him a key player in the Klagenfurt system.
