The Danish defender
Different Koch is apparently about to say goodbye to them
Graz99ers. As the
Crown newspaper
reports, the 28-year-old should no longer play a role in the plans for the coming season and therefore have no future in Graz.
Koch was only with the Finnish club for the 2025/26 season
Kiekko Espoo switched to ICEHL. In his first season with the 99ers, the defensive player showed solid performances and scored 19 points (1 goal, 18 assists) in 38 games. He was particularly impressive in the playoffs with 4 points in 5 games and played a part in the team’s success.
However, his stay in Finland was short-lived. Koch had previously played in his home country of Denmark for several years, especially with the
Aalborg Pirateswhere he developed into a strong offensive defender. In the 2023/24 season he achieved his statistically best season there with 36 points (8 goals, 28 assists) in 45 games. Overall, he won the Danish championship several times and also established himself in the national team.
Now the Defender will probably leave the Styrians.
