The former player of the
EC VSV,
Julian Cornellithe DEL2 remains and changes within the league to
EC Bad Nauheim. On Friday evening, the Hessians confirmed the signing of the striker, who most recently played for the
EV Landshut
arose.
Five years in Landshut
Kornelli spent a total of five seasons at EV Landshut and was one of the most important offensive players there for long stretches. In the 2024/25 season, the center forward was Lower Bavaria’s top scorer with 37 points in just 39 main round games. Last season, however, he was unable to continue this trend and only managed 14 points from 55 appearances.
The move to Bad Nauheim should now give the 28-year-old a fresh start.

Kornelli is no stranger to Austria. The attacker already played for the 2020/21 season
EC VSV in the
ICE Hockey League
on. At that time he played 52 games for the Adler and collected nine scorer points.
Particularly interesting: Kornelli has both German and Austrian citizenship and would therefore not count as a legionnaire.

Kevin Gaudet (formerly Vienna Capitals) was convinced of his new addition. The coach described Kornelli as a reliable two-way striker with a lot of self-confidence who can take responsibility and is particularly valuable in outnumbered games.
