Former Graz99ers top scorer
Simon Hjalmarsson

continues his career in Norway. The veteran moves to the reigning champions
Storhamar Hockey
and thus opens a new chapter in his long European career.

Memories of the strong Graz era

In Austria, Hjalmarsson is best known for his time with the Graz99ers. In the 2021/22 season he was his team’s top scorer with 39 points in 47 games and one of the most noticeable players in the league.

Station Finland as a springboard

After his stint in Graz, the Swede moved to Vaasan Sport in the Finnish Liiga. There he was particularly impressive in the 2024/25 season with strong 60 points from 60 games and impressively underlined his scoring qualities.

Next challenge in Norway

By moving to Storhamar, the 37-year-old is now taking the step into another European league.
