Transfer coup-long-time Icehl-Crack changes to the Carinthian league!

The UECR Huben can look forward to a real transfer cracker. With the Slovenian striker Jure Sotlar, a long -time professional joins the team from East Tyrol with plenty of experience from international leagues.

From the Alpshl Top Scorer to the Carinthian League

Sotlar was still top scorer at the Alpshl team HK Celje last season. After the Slovenes withdraw from the league, numerous players had to look for new clubs. The 32-year-old offensive player has now decided to move to the UECR Huben-an obligation that undoubtedly represents an exclamation mark for the Carinthian league.

Jure Sotlar brings plenty of experience

His vita is impressive: In the Icehl (formerly Ebel), the Slovenian brought it to 139 missions for Olimpija Ljubljana. There are also stations in Italy, Austria and Germany. His strongest season is particularly remembered by the EK Zeller Eisbären: In the Alpshl season 2019/20, he reaches impressive 81 scorer points in just 44 games.

Also active in the national team

In addition to his club stations, Sotlar was already on the ice for the Slovenian national team. In total, he played six caps and thus also gained international experience.
