In less than a month, exactly on September 20, the Alps Hockey League starts its 10th season. Numerous teams are already in the middle of the preparation and have played the first test games. Also in the coming days there will be some teams in the Preseason mission.
With the Red Bull Hockey Juniors, the Hockey Unterland Cavaliers, the EC Bregenzerwald, the Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan, defending champion EK the Zeller Eisbären and HC Gherdeina Valgardena.it, six Alps Hockey League teams have already completed their preseason start. The EC Bregenzerwald already played two test games and both went out of ice as the winner. The HC Gherdeina also started preparing with two successes. The first victories were also able to record the lowerland and the juniors.
In the coming days there are again several encounters with AHL participation. Already on Thursday, Cortina is a guest appearance at Allegehhe Hockey. There is also a league duel between Val Gardena and the Unterland.
On Friday, defending champion Zell am See will be a guest at EC Bad Tölz, while the Kitzbühel Stadtwerke starts preparing against the Eisbären Regensburg in front of a home crowd.
Two games each on the weekend
Two more games follow on Saturday and Sunday: The Red Bull Hockey Juniors are challenged on both days and meet SK Horácká Slavia Třebíč and the HC Tabor. The EC Bregenzerwald measures Stuttgart Rebels on Saturday, while Kitzbühel meets Bad Tölz on Sunday at home.
Testing is also made on Monday: KHL SISAK will play his first preparatory game away from Dunaújvárosi Acélbikák.
